MAJOR CHANGE TO CCSD WORKERS COMPENSATION PROGRAM

Effective September 1, 2008

The Clark County School District announces that its IN-HOUSE claims services staff within the Risk Management Department will assume the handling of ALL workers compensation claims from third-party administrator, Tristar, effective September 1, 2008.  Workers compensation coverage to which district employees may be entitled under the law will be the same.  Any and all open claims currently with Tristar will be transferred to CCSD claims services staff for further handling.
